I am a trained Social Worker and Counsellor with over 11 years experience working in the fields of Mental Health and Addiction.
I am also an ACC Approved Treatment Provider and can provide therapy, counselling and social work for Sensitive Claims alongside services for the following:
Depression
Anxiety and Phobias
Trauma and Abuse
Relationships
Grief and Loss
Alcohol and Drug Abuse
Life Changes
Communication
Self Development
For services not funded by ACC, fees are based on a sliding scale and range from $80.00 to $120.00 depending on the nature of the services required. Assistance with fees may be obtainable.
My journey…
Following the completion my Bachelor of Social Work in 2009 I spent 4 years working in the realm of Alcohol and Drug addictions initially at the Salvation Army Bridge Programme, and subsequently at the Christchurch Methadone Programme. I then moved to the Adult Community Psychiatric Service in 2013. These roles were preceded by two years of voluntary work for Lifeline telephone counselling.
I am a registered Social Worker (5144) and a member of the ANZASW and therefore practice within that organisation’s codes of ethics
